- Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 13284623, vor 9 JahrenThis extension is great, it is a must.
My bummer is that I was having
"privacy.firstparty.isolate = false" in firefox settings, for months, which prevented it from working.
I know this is not _your_ bug, but it would really be nice if the extension could check this config value and give a warning to user that nothing works!
The current result of the combination is a distastrous feeling of privacy.
Thanks for this great extension anyway! - Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon youKnowWho, vor 9 JahrenGreat but lacks whitelisting complete domain as opposed to whitelisting only subdomain.
- Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon nakivagyok, vor 9 JahrenI suggest changing the blue color to green (at Never Clean option), like at Self-Destructing Cookies, much more understandable.
- Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon RobertJ, vor 9 JahrenThis add-on does everything you could want in cookie management. In testing it on FF57a it works as described.
- Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon DAS, vor 9 JahrenBrilliant, but I have to agree with previous poster, Active Mode is a poor choice of name.

- Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon David Hedlund, vor 9 JahrenGood as Self-Destructing Cookies, plus that Cookie AutoDelete comes with a useful import/export tool.
- Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon cosmicomics, vor 9 JahrenThis add-on is good at deleting ordinary cookies, but, unlike Self-Destructing Cookies, it doesn't offer the option of hiding the window and turning off the noise when cookies are being deleted. It's especially irksome when I'm listening to music while browsing. I would very much appreciate it if you could add this option.
Edit 1
Thanks for your reply. Yes, I'm referring to the noise that comes with the notifications. I downloaded the add-on yesterday, and the preferences page showed the "welcome" text, but not the settings. Now it does. I haven't checked "Show Notification After Cookie CleanUp," but that hasn't had any effect. I've clicked "SAVE," but there's no indication that anything has been saved.
One last thing: After each setting there's a question mark, but when I click on a question mark nothing happens. I had hoped that clicking would show a short explanation of what the setting does. It would be helpful if it did.
Edit 2
I deleted Firefox and re-added it without the old files, and now I have access to the settings. Everything seems to work as it should. Thanks for your help.Antwort des Entwicklers
geschrieben am vor 9 JahrenDo you mean the notifications because you can disable that in the settings as I said in the addon page.
Edit 1:
I think either your Firefox profile might be broken or there's another extension that's disabling JavaScript on the settings page. - Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon DevilishVicious, vor 9 JahrenVery good replacement for Self-Destructing Cookies. Working great so far. I just don't like the toolbar icon, it looks bad, poor resolution perhaps. But it's just a little annoyance. In terms of functionality it does the job very well.
- Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 12643713, vor 9 JahrenSo far does exactly what described. There are a few UX issues to iron out but otherwise this is great.
Of course, Firefox should include this functionality in the browser. Websites should have to ask permission or be whitelisted before setting cookies that never expire. - Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon Termy, vor 9 JahrenThe new "Self Destructing Cookies" - works like a charm!
Only thing i'd like would be cloudsaves and to automatically have the domain whitelisted instead of the subdomain when using the toolbar-button. (so not "addons.mozilla.org" but "*.mozzilla.org" instead) - Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon John Golby, vor 9 JahrenA really great replacement for Self Destructing Cookies and has appeared just in time as 95% of my addons are now classed as Legacy. Could do with a smaller icon though as the numbers are partially obstructed but hey - it works so thank you.
- Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 13242041, vor 9 JahrenI've had some issues with it at first, but you should read the "About this addon" section to get the gist of it. Although it doesn't really clean the cookies immediately after the tab is closed (even if set to 0), it cleans them after a couple of seconds so it's OK. Really great addon. Keep it up!
- Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon Nicolas Göddel, vor 9 JahrenI am really annoyed about these new WebExtensions because most of my Addons will not longer work with Firefox 57+. So I am glad to find this alternative. There is only one missing option which I would really be happy with: Disabling notifications. Every time I close tabs there are these popups which tell me which Cookie was automatically deleted. I don't need them. Please add a switch to turn them off. Then you will get 5 stars. :-)
Nevermind: Sometimes I am blind. :-D Here you are with 5 stars.Antwort des Entwicklers
geschrieben am vor 9 JahrenPlease check the settings and I even wrote about this in the Usage section. - Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 13239435, vor 9 Jahren
- Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon SweetLily, vor 9 JahrenSimple to setup, and only clears your Cookies after you've set it up, so you don't have to re-login to a lot of websites you never want to be logged out of.
The menu is also quick and simple to use on the fly for white/grey/blacklisting sites. - Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon RevolverX, vor 9 JahrenWorks great. Switched over from Self destructing cookies since it will be obsolete soon.
- Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 11783868, vor 9 JahrenCan you add a Blacklist? That means only sites in Blacklist get their cookies deleted. I already use uMatrix to control cookies, but cookies must be enabled on some sites for them to work correctly.

And now looking for Adblock Plus and Greasmonkey replacement. - Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 13223523, vor 9 JahrenWhat a relief. I was afraid there wouldn't be a replacement for SDC, but now I found it with C-AD. It works well so far. Hopefully support for FF for Android will be added soon.

- Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon Andrew Aylett, vor 9 JahrenLooking for a replacement for Self-Destructing Cookies, and I'm hopeful I've found it :).
- Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon Howard R, vor 9 JahrenI have a circular icon with a red box with a white X - Clicking on it does nothing - Sadly I see no option to access the settings - Clicking options on the extension page shows me updates. Hovering cursor over Cookie Autodelete icon does nothing (unlike other extensions) - I will definitely update this review if I can use the extension!

Update:- Firstly many thanks for the fast response! Yes I just noticed that private browsing mode was enabled! I have amended the star rating accordingly - Thanks again:)Antwort des Entwicklers

This should only happen if you are in private browsing mode.

You don't see the sidebar to switch tabs on the left side?
