    This Ghostery extension disfigures *every* web page for 10 seconds with a bright purple display in the lower right corner of the web page showing all the trackers it has blocked.
    Yes, bright purple junk added to *every* web page for 10 seconds.
    Highly distracting and unacceptable for any extension to add spam to web pages.

    This extension *must* be changed (in order to not consider it being spam itself) to have an option to allow not showing that purple non-static (hence distracting) spam for 10 seconds on every web page.

    Obviously I am uninstalling this spamware now, after incorrectly blaming the problem on the newest version 69 of Firefox (which btw actually recommended this Ghostery extension).

    This setting can be disabled by clicking the Ghostery icon > click the three stacked dots > click "settings" > click "purple box" > uncheck the box that says "show the purple box in the corner of my browser". Please reach out to us via email to support@ghostery.com if you have any questions.

    Naja, habe eben mal diese Erweiterung auf https://www.detectadblock.com/ getestet und die Webseite hat sofort erkannt, das ich den Adblocker Ghostery benutze. Das ist der 2. google link für ein Adblock Tester gewesen und schon besiegt ?! Naja das sagt glaube ich alles.

    Well, I just tested this extension on https://www.detectadblock.com/ and the website immediately recognized that I use the Adblocker Ghostery. That was the 2nd google link for an adblock tester and Ghostery was already defeated?! Well I belive that's all there is to say.

    EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING APP!!! It will not save your settings on a particular site and is constantly blocking items that have been whitelisted. I've gone in and reset the approvals and on reloading the page, ghostery reverts to it's original settings and I'm right back where I've started. I just shut it off completely.

    Ya no sirve para nada. YouTube ha puesto en marcha un sistema de BLOQUEO QUE BLOQUEA A LOS BLOQUEADORES. Es decir, que no puedes ver ningún vídeo si no desactivas tu bloqueador. Los desarrolladores tendrán que ponerse las pilas.

    Récemment, tous les add-ons de Firefox ont été désactivés. Ceci est un bug de la part de Firefox et a affecté tous les add-ons; y compris Ghostery. Un correctif 66.0.4 a été publié.     This plugin is owned by a big company and it's closed-source. DO NOT USE IT.
    There are better alternatives out there; like uBlock.

    We are actively investigating the issue here. This issue was introduced with Firefox 65.0.2. We haven't done a release in about a month on Firefox. Here is the bugzilla ticket if anyone wants to follow along: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1535589

    We could use your help in diagnosing the problem: If you could go to `about:crashes` in Firefox and send us the crash ID from the crash report. That would be such a help!
