Dark Mode Switch does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data.

The extension stores only the user's Dark mode and Soft black preferences for each website. These preferences are stored locally in Firefox using the WebExtensions storage.local API and are used only to restore the selected appearance when the user returns to a website.

The extension does not use analytics, advertising, tracking, remote servers, or third-party services. It does not transmit browsing activity, website content, or extension settings outside the user's browser.

Removing the extension removes access to its locally stored preferences. Users can also clear extension data through Firefox.
