    I paid for the Pro version. After 55 downloads, the add-on tells me to upgrade to Pro. Support emails are not being answered!
    Not recommended anymore – unfortunately...

    Creates a 160 byte MP4. Downloads nothing.

    Refresh the page and try again, on some occasions Youtube flags your IP and limits requests.

    Tried several video's downloading in all formats, every one was zero length, just a title, no actual data/video

    for many years this worked better than anything, it no longer works at all even on simple videos on simple web sites, it is TOTALLY NONFUNCTIONAL. it has zero ability now. like the goggles, it does nothing (simpsons inside joke).

    this extension used to work pretty well, it always used to have the rigth format that works well with vegas pro, but now it corrupts the files every single time, at least downgrade the extension from the version that worked

    now is 2026.02. this addon can not download youtube videos anymore.

We've released version 24.1, which resolves the issue where downloads were producing incorrect file types (including text documents) instead of videos — this was caused by a YouTube algorithm change.     Donated for it. Few weeks ago addon stopped. Now you can't download anything. All downloaded files - zero-bytes and creator do nothing to resolve problem.
    Not recommend for use.

    All downloads create a file but come with zero KB. No video download at all. Browser: firefox. The extention therefore is a useless worthless trash.

We understand your concern about the paid upgrade for 1080p and MP3 features — these require our own server infrastructure because YouTube no longer provides direct download links for those formats.     I really wanted to post a good review as this USED TO work, but not now. Firefox, latest release on Mac Studio. Said the download is ready - but nothing there; not even a dud file. And I really wanted a copy of this recipe tinyurl.com/mrxu5635. Sorry! :(
