Fixito does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.

The extension runs entirely on your device. The text you correct is processed locally in your browser and is never sent to any server. Fixito makes no network requests of any kind.

The only data Fixito stores is your own settings (your chosen language, keyboard variant, and feature toggles), kept in your browser's local extension storage on your computer. This data never leaves your device and is removed when you uninstall the extension.

Fixito accesses a web page only when you invoke it (the right-click menu, the keyboard shortcut, or the toolbar button). The optional "Quick-fix button"
feature requests permission to run on the sites you visit so it can show a small fix button next to your selection; even then, everything is processed locally and nothing is transmitted. You can turn this feature off at any time.
