The company I work for requires that I use this password manager but otherwise it would be the last password manager I'd ever use. I hate it with a vengeance.

Whenever you log in somewhere, a popup will appear in the upper right corner offering to remember your password. So far, so good; hence the one star of this review.

But if you don't WANT LastPass to remember your password (hey, their security has been sorely lacking in the past; I don't trust them any more than I can throw 'em -- and I have a trick knee), then ignoring that popup isn't going to be enough: it'll stay there until you explicitly tell it to go away. Take a hint, friggin' plugin!

Bad security + bad behavior = 1 star

On Firefox v112.0.2 The addon is not showing the icon in the toolbar. I tried to reset Firefox and uninstalled all other addons. I reinstalled few times LastPass addon and still not working.

Stupid idiots broke it again: requires entering the password after every restart. This has already happened several times in the past. How hard can it be to not break it every f*** time?

This might sound like a cool deal "Free" but it is a back door into the Black Web

After the "security event" aka they were hacked the response has been very bad. I only waited out mu subscription and have now moved on to a better company.

This worked perfectly until some months ago, then it started not filtering the correct website for the pwd, not appearing when necessary, and so on. in its current state it is become unusable

Since they were hacked in December, this has been a train wreck. I can not explain my obscene exasperation without cursing.
Once you centralize your passwords with someone else you lose all control and there is no ... no customer support except the faq's! I did all three of the password resets but none of the answers applied. Why? Why?
Because I was using the correct password the entire time. I had to uninstall and reinstall the password manager.
OH, did I mention they change the way it looks and operates periodically? That's always pleasant I assure you.

When you sign into thier authenticator it changes your device from your computer to you moble. To turn it back.... I'm screaming in fury over this ARRRRRRRRG.

Thank God I figured it out on my LAST ATTEMPT. The FAQs didn't apply, and there is ZERO customer support. Did I mention that?

I will down load my passwords and fire them right away.

It's become a bug-ridden mess.

I don't understand anything that is going on -- am completely confused with all these shouting graphics and could use some calm. easier to follow instructions.

Откатился до версиии: 4.101.0.2 Popup не вылазит.

Unnecessarily complex, wastes a lot of time, frustrating, and needs to be greatly simplified.

As others have stated, the extension frequently breaks in a way that makes it think that you have no passwords saved. Fixing requires uninstall/reinstall. It happens about once a week to me.

Constant glitches. Can't reach server, etc. I can't even understand how a company like this can survive with such a terrible extension.

The Firefox extension won't load.

Stop wasting time  getting locked out of accounts or filling  passwords and  forms online! Instead, start wasting your time disabling and re-enabling, uninstalling and reinstalling, and otherwise constantly attending to this extension which seems to work perfectly - 60% of the time. I find it obnoxious when people complain about a product they're getting for free. Yet, I find myself here, writing a one star review for a product with a very generous free tier. But what am I supposed to do when this thing has wasted so much of my time and probably cost a couple years of my life by boiling my blood so many times.

UNSAFE DO NOT USE, Unable to delete my account, or to login again, or to recover my password, dangerous app that steals banking information. AVOID LAST PASS AT ALL COST and in fact any other password cloud service, Passwords should be kept offiline and encrypted. THINK ABOUT IT? While who you hand your passwords to someoene else? WHEN THEY ARE ONLY MEANT FOR YOU!

it got terrible to use. Happy I switched to bitwarden earlier. Kept it only as a back-up. Here are 2 HUGE reasons not to use it. First, you need to remember your email pass apart from lastpass, because it will constantly ask you to confirm it's actually you trying to log-in via email... so if you have your email pass saved in lastpass and don't remember it - you're F-word and gonna have to recover your email first... SECOND reason is you might actually not receive the login confirmation email from lastpass, then you just F-word and cannot do anything. NEVER USE IT if you do not want to lose all your passes.
