MeetGrab: Google Meet AI Note Taker von Biji Inovasi
Privacy isn't a feature. It's the architecture.
This page covers what MeetGrab collects, what it doesn't, and how your data is handled. Written in plain language so you can verify it yourself.

What we don't do
We don't capture audio (the extension doesn't have audio capture permission)
No bot joins your meetings
We don't sell or share your data
We don't train AI models on your meetings
No ads, no third-party trackers in the product
What happens to your meeting captions
Captured locally in your browser
Sent to our server in Singapore over TLS
Processed in memory by our LLM provider (Anthropic Claude or Google Gemini — see TRD §11.4)
Summary returned to your browser
Captions discarded; only the summary persists, locally on your device
Telemetry we do collect
We use GlitchTip (self-hosted) for error tracking and OpenPanel (self-hosted) for aggregate product events — in both the extension and the marketing site. Google Analytics 4 runs on the marketing site only, never inside the extension. No meeting content is sent to any of these tools.
GlitchTip receives error class, stack trace, request method/path, response status, an anonymized IP hash, and a timestamp. Transcript content is scrubbed before sending.
OpenPanel receives aggregate events (e.g. extension_installed, summary_succeeded, or a marketing-site install-button click) with no transcript content, meeting titles, or participant names.
On the marketing site, Google Analytics 4 and OpenPanel run only after you accept the cookie banner — declining means no analytics tracking at all. GlitchTip error capture carries no cookies and no personal data.
Where your data lives
Your browser (chrome.storage.local) — your meetings, your decisions
Singapore (our backend) — API logs without transcript content; ephemeral processing
LLM provider — for the seconds it takes to generate the summary, no retention permitted by contract
Indonesia's PDP Law alignment
We follow the spirit of UU PDP No. 27/2022: minimal data collection, plain disclosure, data stays in the ASEAN region, no profiling beyond what's needed.
We are not formally PDP-certified. Formal certification is a V3 milestone on our roadmap.
We process limited personal data (your email if you contact us; meeting transcripts ephemerally for summary generation) on a legitimate interest basis.
Your rights
Clear all local data anytime via Settings → Clear all meetings
No account to delete — uninstalling the extension and clearing local storage = full erasure
