...but I am really struggling with it, especially the FF add-on. The FF add-on is really is not fit for purpose and needs withdrawing until the many problems are resolved. I can appreciate that it is difficult keeping up with FF updates, but at least Norton Identity SAFE MUST be made to function correctly with the ESR versions of FF. C'mon guys, get this sorry act together, you are really failing your paying clients and also tarnishing the brand needlessly. I used to use LastPass and stopped using it after all the recent security scares and migrated to NIS, but now I am beginning to regret it.

Norton is the worse crap in the world. And when you have problems with a Norton product, don't think their customer service could help you.

Firefox updated today to 52.0.2 now Norton ID safe will not autofill

Everytime Firefox updates itself, it stops the Nortons Identity Safe and other Nortons plugins loading and/or functioning properly - please fix this - it has been doing this for years.

Nortons plugins work perfectly on IE11, and sometimes play up on Chrome after browser software updates. I am on Windows 10 Pro running the latest updated versions of everything.

It's aggravating when you try to get your bank password to pay a bill and Norton Identity safe says (something went wrong with vault) it's obvious somethings wrong with the vault. Makes me question the safety of this app.

Have used this for years but now it will not work for the last week or two and is causing other browser problems. Makes one wonder whether the info in one's vault is really secure because they can't fix it. Have spent hours with their support agents with no result and they give a different story every time as to when it will be fixed, Does not inspire confidence and would not recommend this

Before this week I would have recommended this service, but for some reason the plugins for firefox and chrome have stopped working, and even the desktop app doesn't work anymore. The only thing that works is logging onto the website itself. They need to fix this soon.

Same as everybody else. Identity safe can't log on, just sits and spins. Left computer on all night and it was still spinning this AM.
Guess I'll just have to print out a copy of all my passwords and leave it on my desk for all to see. thanks a lot Norton and Mozilla! Too bad there is not a sub category for less than 1 star!

I just bought a new windows 10 machine. I had a Vista machine. The vault was working great on Vista, but it just sits there and spins when I try to unlock the vault on my new Windows 10 machine.

I don't know really why Norton don't care to our needs and finish working on Identity Safe fast ??!!!

doesn't keep up with Firefox updates - works fine & then next update it's useless. very poor option for passwords as you can't assume it'll always work. Latest Firefox update rendered it useless once again. Frustrating.

We've all been waiting on Norton to fix Identity Safe on Firefox, and I was excited to see that it was working right after the last update. BUT it only worked for about 10 minutes. Now it's back to not letting me log in for autofilling passwords in this browser. It still works on Internet Explorer and on my iPhone. Norton is more frustrating than it's worth lately.

Ich bin mit Norton nicht mehr zufrieden. Diverse Features, wie Norton Safe, funktionierten monatelang nicht - dementsprechend war die Freude groß, als endlich ein Update erschien. Leider nicht mit dem vollen Leistungsumfang, den man als User gewohnt war.
Dann vor ein paar Tagen kam schon wieder das Aus für Norton Safe. Der Versuch mich im Browser in den Norton Safe einzuloggen, schlägt fehl - jedoch ohne das ein Hinweis o.ä. ausgegeben wird. Funktioniert einfach nicht mehr.
Ich habe genug von Norton, ich werde auf andere Produkte umsteigen, mit dem Geld, dass ich für Norton Security & Co ausgebe, kann ich mir auch funktionierende Produkte kaufen!

After decades of using Norton products, I am now ready to look elsewhere. The problem isn't your browser, it's Norton! They are just not interested in producing quality software for individual users. Blaming Firefox or Chrome is just smoke and mirrors on the part of an unqualified Customer Service. Identity Safe is lousy shoddy software that fails under the least bit of internet stress. Just say good-bye and bite the bullet - don't give them your money any more.

The add on for Mozilla was working - now it isn't. I have removed the add on, closed and reopened Mozilla, uploaded again and it still does not work.

I agree, every time Firefox updates, NIS does not work. I have to go in and add it to the add ons.
This time it still doesn't work.
Can't you and Norton get together before releasing a new update and get it right with Norton?

Firefox releases updates that are not compatible with Identity Safe on a frequent basis. I depend on Identity Safe to manage my logins, and it has proven to be reliable for many years. Firefox, on the other hand isn't, so now I use Chrome. The rating is for Firefox, not Identity Safe.

I just installed Firefox on my ThinkPad running Windows 10 and up until the time I tried to get Norton's tool bars installed I was very pleased with FF and considered uninstalling IE 11. Unfortunately, the add-on for ID safe appears not to be able to support a local vault for the passwords. I don't know if this is a Norton problem or FF. There is no way I going to place my passwords online. Does anyone know of a workaround?

It seemed like I waited a year for Norton Identity Vault to work with Firefox again. When it was added about a month ago it had limited functionality but it worked. Starting November 27, 2016, it now crashes when I try to enter my vault pin! The Error Message: "Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again."

Norton bekommt es einfach nicht hin Identity Safe funktionierend in Firefox einzubinden.
Diese Add on will sich einloggen obwohl ich bei Identity Safe schon eingeloggt bin. Es lädt und lädt und lädt ........
Absolut unbrauchbarer Schrott.

Like all programs from Norton it works badly. There are other cloud services better.

I have the same issue as tricel (Sept. 4 review) This has never worked. I've uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times and I'm sure I have the latest updates. When I click "Open Vault" I get the "Sorry, something went wrong..." notification. So far, this has been useless for me.
I also agree that a local option should always be available. I hate using the cloud.

When logging in all I get is spinning dots. Oh and I am not a retard, my machine is plugged in, turned on and I was using your latest crap version 1.1.54

Als jahrelanger Nutzer von Norton, werde ich nach Ablauf meiner Laufzeit, kein Norton Produkt mehr wählen. Norton ist nicht in der Lage, Teile des Funtkionsumfangs eines gekauften Programmes vernünfig zu programmieren, sodass dieses auch läuft.
Ein einloggen und benutzen des Identity Safe ist schon seit einem Jahr bei Firefox nicht möglich und auch bei Google Chrome siehts nicht viel besser aus. Auf vielen Websiten funktioniert es bei Chrome nicht, bei Firefox 49 funktioniert leider überhaupt nix.
