Über diese Erweiterung

Price Scout reads the product on the page you're viewing and instantly shows the same item's price across other retailers, ranked cheapest first.

How it works:
• Open a product page on Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, Target, eBay, or most stores.
• Click the Price Scout icon.
• It reads the product title and identifier (barcode/ASIN when available) and looks up live prices from other vendors.

What makes the results trustworthy:
• Matches by model code and barcode so you compare the exact item, not lookalikes.
• Drops accessories (cases, cables, ear pads), used/refurbished noise, and obvious mispriced/scam listings.
• Optional AI matching removes wrong variants and bundles (e.g. XM4 vs XM5, Pro vs non-Pro).
• Collapses marketplace resellers into one cheapest row per store.

Private by design:
• Runs only on the tab you click it on — no background tracking, no browsing history.
• Only the product title/identifier is sent to look up prices. No accounts, no analytics, no ads.
• Your settings stay on your device.
