    Excellent addon, simple! The only issue I have is that it doesn't count pinned tabs.

    Great addon, does what it says on the tin! Very similar situation for me with my sister, tons of tabs and she would complain why her laptop would be slow, was able to deploy the plugin over group policy to prevent removal and it works a treat!

    I couldn't live without this extension now! I always open new tabs because I'm generally working on something and moving back and forth. Things can grind to a halt real quick. This way my 10 most recent tabs stay alive and the old ones just disappear. It's perfect. The only thing that bothers me is the icon - are you angry with your son?! It bothers me a bit. But the extension is brilliant.

    On Linux Manjaro, where the sounds (Gong, Buzzer, etc.) are stored? I searched in my FF profile, but I can't find them.

    Unfortunately, I can't hear the sound alerts when a tab is closed (but I can hear them when I select them from the Limit Tabs' "Preferences page" on FF Add-ons Manager.

    Looking forward to trying this more. Just barely installed it and checked out and adjusted the Options(thanks) and it seems awesome so far! Thank you for doing this!! P.S. is there a site where i can look at the code for this extension and get notified of changes/commits?

    The code is maintained locally. However, one can download active code from Firefox's add-on repository -- there are techniques posted online.

    Awesome except.... for the annoying sound when trying to open an extra tab! You really should make it customizable so I can pick a gentler sound. Otherwise it's great - thank you for sharing it.

    The "gong" can be disabled within preferences. All the same, I will look into making it customizable or, at the very least, provide multiple sound options. Update: You can now choose from the following: gong, buzzer, doorbell, beep, or just disable sound.

    Hello! I suggested implemmenting one tab limit some time ago, but I realized how unpractical that is. I had another idea though: scheduling the tab limit to certain times of the day, so you can for example only limit your tabs during work hours. Also maybe there could be an option to, during the time scheduled, disable the possibility to toggle the extension through the icon. Just throwing in some ideas, don't even know if it's doable or simple to do, but the extension is already excelent as it is, thank you!

    This is an excellent plugin for anyone who struggles to self-regulate their browsing. One request to make this extension even better - Is there a way to count pinned tabs towards the total number of open tabs?

    Sorry for this delayed response. Technically, it's not very difficult to address your request. However, doesn't it go against the basic principle of pinned tabs?     "least recently used" option does no work for me. It always switches back to "newest". Firefox 76.0.1 (64-Bit) OpenSuse

    Yup, bug noted. Fixed in latest version.
