Story Tracker Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you use Story Tracker on supported websites, the extension may collect:
- Story and chapter titles visible on the page
- Page URL and reading position (scroll percentage, reading time)
- Account authentication tokens when you sign in

What we do not collect

• Full browser history
• Data from sites outside configured host permissions
• Browsing on tabs you do not visit while the extension is active

How data is used

Data is used to save and sync your reading progress with your Personal OS backend account.

Data storage

• Locally: auth tokens, settings, offline sync queue (browser storage)
• Remotely: reading progress sent to api-personal-os.fashandcurious.com when signed in

Third parties

Authentication is handled via api-auth.fashandcurious.com (Fash auth service).

Your choices

• Sign out to stop syncing
• Disable auto-sync or specific sites in extension settings
• Uninstall the extension to remove local data
