- Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon Kelderic, vor 9 JahrenWindows already lets me drag windows to the corner for a 4-window arrangement. This addon adds zero value to Firefox. However, this is Mozilla's fault 100%, not the addon developer's fault. Hence the 5 star rating ... dev is doing the best they can with nuked extension API.

geschrieben am vor 9 JahrenTile Tabs WE allows you to do quite a lot of things that you can't easily do with the normal Windows Manager.
Here are some of the reasons why you might want to use Tile Tabs WE:
• To compare multiple web pages side-by-side (e.g. 3 or more pages side-by-side).
• To create staggered layouts (e.g. one page alongside two more pages tiled vertically).
• To open links from one tab in adjacent existing tabs.
• To synchronize scroll multiple web pages side-by-side.
• To save tiled layouts which can be re-opened for future use. - Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternenvon Robert_Ordis, vor 9 JahrenWeb Extensionってやれること激減してるのかなあ。
以前の奴と違ってコレただウィンドウ分割してそれっぽく配置してるだけ。
完全に別もんなので「継続して使いたい」って人には向きません。 - Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternenvon chfaure, vor 9 JahrenThe non WE extension works great but this one is not an alternative.
You will miss :
- Tabs arrangement,
- ability to EASILY assign to Tabs,
- keep single ff window with clean and lean interface....
- Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 13343528, vor 9 JahrenSo much worse than old version.
- Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 13335772, vor 9 JahrenI will never upgrade firefox 57 version more
- Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternenvon Destroyer5, vor 9 JahrenWhy not have it split the tabs within the same window and not open new windows. It is hard to compare other tabs when reviewing products when you have to keep going back and forth and constantly spliting.
- Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 13341101, vor 9 JahrenOld one was much better, double click and two tabs next to each other would split, this has none of that functionality, off to find something else now.
- Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 13340597, vor 9 JahrenI loved the original, this is awful. Was one of best things about Firefox, now it's little better than Chrime. Gutted FF have made these changes.
- Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 13339571, vor 9 JahrenThis is no longer a tab application, it is a windowed application. I didn't like the Google version so I used the Firefox version. Now this is going away. This is a Firefox issue not the Add-on developer's issue. Without this great tool, I will go back to Chrome.
- Bewertet mit 3 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 13338317, vor 9 JahrenSorry for the low rating. I really wish I could give it a 5* as in previous add-on.
Hope to see it with original features soon!
Thank you anyway for the effort and I'm sure you're doing your best. :) - Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternenvon It Know How, vor 9 JahrenThe ability to control click a link into a tab excited me. But it won't save in the options. This is no longer a tab application, it is a windowed application. I didn't like the Google version so I used the Firefox version. Now this is going away. Another addon bites the dust. This is a Firefox issue not the Add-on developer's issue. Without this great tool, I will probably go back to Chrome.
- Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternenvon mike, vor 9 JahrenThe point was to have tabs split in the same window and switch layouts / tabs within the same browser window.
I can open new windows myself without using this "add-on". - Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternenvon Leon, vor 9 JahrenI did not use the 'old but very useful' version a lot but still enough to know that the new WE version is absolutely useless as is. I too want tabs tiled in the same browser window not in separate windows. This change makes the add-on pointless.

- Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 13335652, vor 9 Jahrenthe older, non WE version is better.
to Developer of the WE version, Thank you for the try but I can resize my browsers without the help of the addon. What we can not do is having multiple tile windows in one browner. - Bewertet mit 2 von 5 Sternenvon Internet2k4, vor 9 JahrenDisappointed like other users of the fine non-WE version - not sure if it's worth keeping. One useful improvement would be ability to save and store specific website combos as was possible before.

Tile Tabs WE allows you to save a tiled layout after it has been created, with the option to save the currently loaded pages, in exactly the same way as the original Tile Tabs. - Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternenvon Rado, vor 9 JahrenThis updated version does not work like the old Tile Tabs. Tile Tabs was the reason I was using Firefox. This updated version now works by spitting tabs in to windows, instead of keeping all tiles within a singular window. This could easily be done with a window manager, and no longer serves the needs I have.
- Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 13333934, vor 9 JahrenThis plugin used to be the reason, that I used FireFox, now there is no reason anymore. While I understand, that the changes were triggered by Mozilla, it means, that the plug-in doesn't help me anymore. For similar functionality I could use any kind of OS based windows tools.
Even for just windows oriented "tiling" I can't use it anymore:
- double click on the tab doesn't work anymore
- using new layout moves tabs to another display, therefore unusable in multi display environments. - Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon roby, vor 9 JahrenGuys, if anyone knows if there is anything out there like the old version?
I was using it to view trading charts and the new version is not gonna do it for me.
Mean while I have already downloaded FireFox Portable and installed all add-ons Im using so I can extend using the old one. - Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 12740845, vor 9 JahrenWhere is "Tile Tabs"? This is better call it "Tile Windows". Damned Firefox 57!
- Bewertet mit 3 von 5 Sternenvon uday, vor 9 JahrenBut let me ask you, why the old one still continues to work fine even if it's not compatible?

geschrieben am vor 9 JahrenThe original Tile Tabs works with Firefox 56, but will not work with Firefox 57 which will be released on 14 November 2017. - Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternenvon charly, vor 9 JahrenIntenten volver a tile view, no es muy util el modo de operacion de tile tab we.
de hecho estoy buscando alternativas.
me resulta mucho mejor la version anterior - Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternenvon Iamhated, vor 9 JahrenThis is bad. Firefox is having a suicide party for itself and all its developers :(
- Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternenvon Mansemat, vor 9 JahrenSeems like I'll be sticking to an obsolete version of Firefox in the future so I can keep the real TileTabs extension and not this... neutered version.
I do not want multiple windows open having to close them one by one when switching programs or whatever reason.
Shame on Firefox Devs or whoever decided this was a good idea, this stuff is what killed opera and many other great apps and programs in the past. Will they ever learn.
I'll keep using TileTABS on an old Firefox version.
