VOD Review Enhancements collects no personal data. It does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, browsing history, account details, or analytics, and contains no tracking, telemetry, advertising, or third-party code.

The extension supports the players that vodreview.app embeds, Twitch (player.twitch.tv) and BiliBili (www.bilibili.com), and runs on vodreview.app itself to coordinate them. It performs three functions: (1) applies a Web Audio compressor to the Twitch player's audio; (2) adjusts how the embedded Twitch player reports its visibility so it doesn't pause when overlaid or backgrounded; and (3) for BiliBili streams on vodreview.app, shows whether a channel is live and lets you mute, adjust volume, and pause/play the embedded BiliBili player.

For Twitch, the extension makes no network requests; the only communication is local messaging between the player frame and the vodreview.app page, which never leaves your device. For BiliBili live status, the extension makes one functional request to BiliBili's own public API (api.live.bilibili.com) to check whether a channel you are viewing on vodreview.app is currently live; that request sends only a public BiliBili room ID. As when you visit bilibili.com directly, BiliBili can see your IP address and the request; the extension adds no personal information, sends nothing to vodreview.app's servers or any analytics service, and stores nothing.

Compressor preferences are saved by the vodreview.app website in your browser's local storage; the extension itself stores nothing.

The extension requests host access to player.twitch.tv (Twitch players) and api.live.bilibili.com (BiliBili live status only); its content scripts also run on the BiliBili player pages it controls (www.bilibili.com/blackboard/...) and on vodreview.app. These are the minimum needed to function.
