    TERRIBLE SPEED, literally can't open google for MINUTES. A year ago or so it was perfectly fine, now its a PURE GARBAGE 90% time of the day it feels like somebody is taking all the bandwidth and I get only the rest 0,01% and now problem is not with my ISP or connection I have 100 mb/s with ease without proxy

    Hello, thank you for your feedback. When rerouting through the VPN, the connection needs to travel through different networks and depending on the way it takes it can happen that you sometimes experience slower speed.

    It can be that even though you have a fast connection and you're connecting to a high-speed ZenMate server, the connection is slowed down somewhere between. This is also why, most of the time, servers closer to your real l location, where there is a shorted physical distance for the network to travel, give you better connection speed than servers far away.

    However, it can also be that there is an issue. If you continuously experience slow connection, and you are using a server close to your real location, please first try the workaround in this article: https://zenguard.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/201259161-

    Всегда отличная скорость, соединение без проблем, мгновенное и точное, сбоев нет, работаю только с платным приложением. Есть поговорка наших бабушек - "Хорошее не бывает дешевым". Через месяц продлю обязательно и еще на год.

    Сильно помогает! Очень долго пользовался бесплатной версией и наконец купил Premium!
    Некоторые форумы, сайты заблокированы у нас; некоторые почтовые службы не хотят работать с российскими IP (например: AOL, WEB.DE и т.д) - Теперь это не проблема! Когда у меня есть ZenMate я свободно посещаю их!
    Потрясающе! Спасибо! Я очень доволен!
    Очень важно (IMHO) , что бесплатная версия замечательно работает, хотя имеет некоторые ограничения, которые снимаются при покупке Premium!
    Теперь о тех, кто включает ZenMate одновременно с другими VPN-приложениями (Proxy-дополнениями) - не стоит этого делать! Это примерно так, если бы вы фильм включили на двух плеерах...

    Fait bien ce qu'on lui demande,même la version gratuite qui me sert pour des recherches épisodiques,ne ralenti pas vraiment le navigateur, biien :)

    Мне очень нравится. Я пробовал разные - перечислять не буду, но поверьте - я постоянно экспериментирую в поисках хороших приложений. И снова возвращался к zenmate.
    Простой, надежный , ненавязчивый. Согласен - платная версия не дешевая. Но даже версия free меня вполне устраивает.

    DISASTROUS SECURITY ISSUE

    Win7x64, FF 60 & 61b (ZenMate 6.2.4) / 52esr (5.10.4), plugins turned off, webrtc disabled, dns over proxy, otherwise fresh profile.

    Deceptively claims to be always on when at least for a few seconds after browser startup it's not. During that time the icon appears to be blue and it's not just a visual glitch, ZM is actually inactive. If you open an IP-checking page within those 3 seconds it will show your real IP address. This affects restarting as well. In ff52 it's barely noticeable as the addon seems to load instantly but still present.

    And while I'm at it I should mention another issue, an annoying inconvenience that has been there for years (the above one could be too, I just hadn't noticed it before). If for some reason Firefox struggles to load a page, ALL connections get halted until I manually stop the attempt, even then it might require a restart. Also the connection may end if iddle for a while, but this time changing location does the job.

    Disregard the above, this app is OK, it has a long list of available locations and their IPs aren't always blacklisted by forum admins, high speed limits too, nice privacy policy. Even the stripped down free version is quite usable.

    Please note that the blue icon indicates that you are not logged into your ZenMate account. To do so, you just need to left-click on the icon and the signup page will open. On this page, in the top-right corner, you should see a login button and after introducing the email and password linked to your ZenMate account, the icon will turn green. Your browser is now fully protected.

    We kindly ask you to not to log out from the extension when you do not want to use it but simply use the on/off button you see at the bottom of the menu. This way, you should not see a blue icon, but either grey (inactive) or green (active).

    About the second issue you described, it seems like a speed issue - this would explain why it works with changing locations -, however, it might also be related to the fact that the website does not work with the specific location/IP you have during the session and it works with another one. Unfortunately, it is hard to troubleshoot this issue here with the information provided. Thanks for your understanding.
