- Rated 1 out of 5by Kei, 4 days agoI tried using this translation service with the free plan, but it's completely useless.
The translated sentences are completely different from the original, making the meaning impossible to understand. I also tried Google Translate and Microsoft Translator, but the results are often completely different from what those translation services produce, and there are many cases where the meaning doesn't make sense at all.
I don't even want to give it one star. - Rated 1 out of 5by Valkris, a month agoForces you to log in to track you and forces you into a dumb subscription just for a translation service extension on mozilla addons. This is really bad. Please never code again and shut this down.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Ru, 2 months agoSummary: Do not recommend. This software badgers the user.
Details: I'm in the process of being more studious about my privacy. That said, I see no reason why a translation add-on needs any information from me whatsoever beyond the text I input or highlight to be translated and maybe some non-identifying use data to keep up on how the add-on behaves. I shouldn't need a profile or account. While I'm not obligated to have one to use the add-on, because I'm not signing up for one, the add-on has interrupted my browser use with a full-screen pop-up window to sign up with an account once per hour in the two hours I've had the add-on, and there was an exact one hour gap between the pop-ups. That tells me all I need to know about this add-on and what I can expect from it going forward, and I'm uninstalling it. Do better. - Rated 1 out of 5by yuuzaa, 2 months agobait and switch tactic. turns out you must sign in to use image translation 'for free': 100 images PER MONTH

Je ne risque pas de payer pour une extension pareille. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12658668, 3 months agoIt worked well up until not long ago where they changed from static translation services like bing/google translate to AI translate services hosted in China mainly or services you have to pay for like ChatGPT/Claude/Gemini.
I really liked it because it was convenient to use, but now you get prompted that you have to sign up after a bit because you've used their AI model too much and they want you to pay.
I've also noticed artifacts like often article titles will be translated into Mandarin instead of English. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19973211, 3 months ago
