Preview of AIDAN

AIDAN by Ankur Agarwal

AIDAN saves web pages, posts, videos, highlights, and links into the user's personal AI memory so they can recall them later from any MCP-aware AI chat client (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.).

About this extension
Save anything from the web to your AI memory in one click — then bring it back
into ChatGPT, Claude, or any other AI chat when it's actually useful.

AIDAN is built for people who read a lot online and want their reading to
compound. Save an article, a YouTube video, a thread, a LinkedIn post, a
Facebook reel, an Instagram carousel — and the next time you're asking
ChatGPT or Claude for help on the topic, your saved context is right there.

HOW TO SAVE
• Click the AIDAN icon, then "Save" — captures the current page.
• Paste any URL into the popup and click "Save" — works for pages you're
not currently viewing.
• Right-click selected text → "Save highlight to AIDAN".
• Right-click an empty area → "Save page to AIDAN".
• Right-click a link → "Save link to AIDAN".
• Right-click a feed post on LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, or
Reddit → "Save post to AIDAN". Pulls the canonical permalink even when
it isn't rendered as a normal link.
• Keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+S (Cmd+Shift+S on Mac) — saves a highlight
if you have text selected, otherwise saves the page.

WHAT GETS SAVED
The page title, URL, and the readable content (after running Mozilla
Readability + Markdown extraction). For posts, the canonical post URL and
the post text. Nothing else. We don't track browsing history, we don't read
pages you didn't ask us to save, and we don't sell user data.

WHAT YOU NEED
A free AIDAN account (sign in with Google or with your email and password when
you first open the extension) and an AI chat client that supports the MCP
protocol — Claude Desktop and a growing list of others work today.

HOST PERMISSIONS (FIREFOX)
On install, Firefox will ask you to grant access to api.aidanclub.com — the
single AIDAN backend host the extension contacts. If you skip this at install
time, the extension popup shows a "Grant access" banner; tap it to grant and
saves will work immediately.

PRIVACY
Single-host network access (api.aidanclub.com), no tracking, no analytics,
no third-party data sharing. Full policy at https://aidanclub.com/privacy.
