    • Fixed Google Drive restore/connect in Firefox when Firefox rejects the optional data-collection permission prompt outside a direct user-input stack.
    • Google Drive sync now continues to the Device OAuth flow instead of showing “permissions.request may only be called from a user input handler”.
    • Explicit user cancellations and real Google Drive/OAuth failures are still reported normally.
    • Updated the Firefox extension build version to 2.0.3.

    • Fixed Google Drive connection in Firefox failing with "permissions.request may only be called from a user input handler".
    • Firefox data collection consent is now requested directly from the user click action, without an async permission preflight that could lose the user gesture.
    • Optional permission requests were hardened to avoid the same Firefox user-gesture issue in future flows.
    • Added regression tests for WebExtension permission request behavior.
    • This update only bumps the Firefox extension package to 2.0.2; the Chromium package remains on 2.0.1.

    • Fixed reordering groups upward, downward, and between nested group levels.

    • Improved migration handling for older data where top-level groups did not yet have parentId set.
    • Fixed Chromium/Helium Manifest V3 compatibility by removing Firefox-only background.scripts from Chromium builds.
    • Added release validation guards to prevent Chromium and Firefox background manifest formats from being mixed again.
