Claude Tangents by pinii

Tangent lets you fork a side-conversation from any point in a Claude answer — without muddying your main chat.

While reading a long answer you often get a mid-reading question about one paragraph — a tangent that would derail the main thread if you asked it inline.
Tangent gives those questions their own space.

How it works
- Select any text in a Claude answer and click the injected ↳ Tangent button.
- A floating popover opens with that text quoted and the full prior conversation as context.
- Ask your question and get a real, streaming claude.ai conversation — the same model, on your own subscription.
- Your main thread is never touched.

Re-open a tangent from its inline highlight or the top-bar list. Open tangents inside tangents (nested), keep several open at once, and delete a tangent (which
also removes its side-conversation).

Privacy: no servers, no analytics, no telemetry. Tangent runs only on claude.ai, uses your existing session, and stores tangent references locally on your
device.
