A note on permissions, because you should ask.

Clove needs to know when you're on a sponsor's website so it can surface a code. To do that it checks the site you're on against a list of sponsor domains. Here's the honest version of how we keep that from being creepy:

• We don't collect your browsing history. The check for "is this a sponsor site?" happens on your device first, using a compact local filter, so Clove isn't phoning home about every page you visit.
• Only a known sponsor site ever triggers a check with our server. Everything else stays on your device.
• We only ever surface codes from creators you chose to subscribe to. We never sell your data, and we don't show you "deals" from creators you have no connection to.
• Connecting YouTube uses Google's official sign-in. We use it to import the creators you subscribe to ** nothing else ** and you can disconnect any time.
