About this extension
Turn a messy list of toxic domains and URLs into a clean, Google-ready disavow.txt.
Paste anything: bare domains, full URLs with paths and parameters, lines copied from an old disavow file, comma-separated lists, even entries with inline # comments. The generator normalizes all of it and builds a file that follows Google's Search Console format exactly.
WHAT IT HANDLES
- Strips protocols, paths, ports, and www. automatically
- Collapses everything to domain: entries (recommended), or keeps exact URLs when you choose URL mode
- De-duplicates identical entries and counts what was removed
- Flags tokens that are not a recognizable domain or URL instead of silently dropping them
- Adds your property label and entry counts as # comment lines at the top
WHAT YOU GET
- A live preview of disavow.txt that updates as you type
- One-click Copy or Download, ready to upload in Google Search Console
- Your draft is saved locally, so an accidental click outside the popup loses nothing
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Everything runs locally in your browser. The extension requests no permissions at all, makes no network requests, and your list never leaves the popup.
A disavow is a last resort: file one when you have a manual action or a clear toxic-link risk, not as routine hygiene. This is the same normalization we run before filing a disavow on a Google Penalty Recovery engagement at Mojo Links, exposed as a free tool. The web version lives at mojolinks.com/tools/disavow-file-generator.
