About this extension

Disenshittify removes the junk platforms keep adding to keep you scrolling.

Turn each feature on or off from a simple popup. Nothing is sent anywhere — it runs entirely in your browser, collects no data, and needs no account.

YouTube
• Hide the home feed, Shorts (feed + search), and video recommendations (sidebar + end screen)
• Remove ads, comments, Explore, Playables, and the "More from YouTube" / subscription / "Explore more topics" shelves
• Kill the floating YouTube Premium promo popup

X / Twitter
• Hide ads, the Premium upsell, Grok, the chat dock, and verified-badge clutter
• Remove the sidebar widgets (Trends, Who to follow) while keeping search
• Default the timeline to "Following" instead of "For you"
• Cleaner desktop layout: centered timeline, floating post button, compact search

LinkedIn
• Hide promoted (ad) posts, "Recommended for you" modules, and posts from people you don't follow
• Remove reaction/activity injected posts, the puzzles card, "Add to your feed", and Page upsells
• Default the feed to "Most recent" instead of "Most relevant"

Privacy first: open source (MIT), no telemetry, no remote code, no permissions beyond storing your settings.
