    • Local PDFs: Click the toolbar icon and choose "Open a local PDF…" to translate any PDF from your computer. Select text, get the translation — same as on a regular page.
    • Web PDFs (optional): Open the Options page and turn on "Open PDFs in Hawk Translate's viewer" to also handle PDFs you click on the web. This is off by default because enabling it asks for permission to all websites — necessary since web PDFs can live on any domain.
      The select-to-translate bubble, popup, and right-click "Translate" all work inside the viewer.

    • Expanded the target-language list from 50 to 130+ — now covers the full Google Translate set.
    • Fixed a race condition where selecting a second piece of text quickly could leave the bubble showing the new text with the previous translation. Late responses are now discarded and the source text is pinned to the result it came from.
