About this extension

HLS Player intercepts top-level HTTP Live Streaming (.m3u8) navigations and opens them in a clean local video player. Playback uses Firefox's native HLS support when available and otherwise the bundled hls.js library. The extension has no accounts, analytics, telemetry, remote code, or developer-operated service.
