Media Control by Jonas van den Berg

This extension displays media from all your open tabs and allows you to control media playback. It comes with rich metadata support, including song details from music streaming services and links to artist and album pages which you can open or copy-paste directly from the extension menu.

All information is extracted from the browser tab by analyzing the web page, no additional requests to external services are made. You can control media playback by changing the playback position, pausing and resuming the media, skipping to the next song, rewinding to the beginning, returning to the previous track and muting the tab that is playing the media. You can also open the largest available version of the album cover in a new tab and create a pop-out window to continuously observe media playback.
