What changed
Fixed an issue where the related videos in the sidebar could disappear along with Shorts. Now only the Shorts go.
The clean home page was rebuilt: it no longer sits blank while YouTube loads, it is readable in dark theme, and it stopped repeating the search box and logo already at the top of the screen.
The "Zero distraction" preset is now a fixed list. Every new feature used to join it on its own and quietly change what you had chosen.

NoShorts 2.0 is a full rewrite, rebuilt to be faster, lighter and work the same across Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, Vivaldi and Firefox.

What's new:
- NoShorts is now a full YouTube declutter tool. Hiding Shorts still works everywhere (home, search, subscriptions, channels, sidebar, the Shorts tab), and you can now turn on around 45 optional cleanups, grouped by category: home feed, watch page, player, performance, top bar, sidebar, search and appearance.
- Three one-click presets to get started: Just remove Shorts, Focus, and Zero distraction.
- Option to open Shorts in the normal video player.
- A master switch to turn the whole extension on or off.
- Choose your interface language from 55 options.
- Every change applies instantly, with no page reload.

Still private by design: no tracking, no analytics, and no data ever leaves your device. The only permission is local storage.

CSS handling – Hiding logic moved from a separate CSS file to JS injection in redirect.js; CSS applied only when enabled.

Popup redesign – Dark mode support, updated toggle styling (including YouTube red), and clearer layout.
Manifest – Added storage permission; removed noshorts.css from content scripts; removed 192/256/512px icon sizes.
Localization – shorts_hidden message updated to “Shorts are blocked on YouTube” in all 50+ locales.
README – Replaced short title with full documentation (features, installation, usage, how it works).
