OP Inspector does not collect, store, sell, or transmit any personal data about its users. It includes no analytics, tracking, or advertising components.

The extension operates entirely within your browser. To verify the Originator Profile (OP) information attached to the page you are viewing, it only fetches the OP-related resources required for that verification (such as profiles, credentials, and signing keys) and performs all signature verification locally in your browser. No browsing history, page content, or verification result is sent to us or to any third party.

Permissions are used solely to provide this core functionality:
- Access to web pages (host permissions / content scripts): to detect and verify OP information on the pages you visit.
- webRequest / webRequestAuthProvider: to handle authentication when retrieving OP-related resources.
- storage: to keep the extension's local settings.

Your data is:
- Not sold to third parties.
- Not used or transferred for any purpose unrelated to the extension's core functionality.
- Not used or transferred to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
