About this extension
Reddit NSFW Subreddit Blocker hides NSFW (over-18) subreddits the moment they start loading and replaces them with a blank page, before any adult content can appear.

It is deliberately un-configurable: there is no popup, no options page, no whitelist, and no off-switch. Once installed, blocking is always on — a self-control tool in the spirit of website blockers, scoped to Reddit NSFW subreddits.

How it works: a content script checks each subreddit you open against Reddit's own public NSFW flag (with a page-content fallback) and blocks the ones marked over-18. It uses no blocklist to maintain and sends no data anywhere.

Privacy: collects nothing, tracks nothing, no ads. Requests only Reddit's public subreddit metadata, directly from Reddit. See the privacy policy.
