ResumeTub runs no server that collects your data, does not track your browsing, and never sells anything.

What we DON'T collect: no account or email to use the extension; no browsing history; no analytics or ad trackers; no transcript, prompt or AI answer is sent to or stored by us.

Stored on your device only (never sent to us): your settings (chosen AI, preset, format, language), custom presets, your license key if you buy ResumeTub, and a small daily-use counter (a date and a number) for the free plan's 1-use-per-day limit. With Firefox Sync, this counter may sync across your own devices via your browser.

What leaves your browser, and where:
- YouTube: the extension reads the subtitles (and, if enabled, top comments) of the video you are watching.
- Your chosen AI (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, Mistral): the subtitles and prompt are inserted into that site's input field; your use is then governed by that provider's privacy policy.
- LemonSqueezy: if you activate a license, your key is sent only to validate it.

The extension loads no remote code. Removing the extension deletes all its data.
