Vezilka Macedonian Text Donor is an opt-in browser extension for donating public
Macedonian-language text to the Vezilka corpus.


The extension does not read any page until you switch it on. Reading pages you have not
explicitly pointed it at additionally requires a browser permission that is asked for
separately, the first time you enable in-page suggestions — it is not granted when the
extension is installed, and you can withdraw it at any time from your browser's extension
settings. Donating the page you are on, or a passage you have highlighted, does not need
that permission.

With suggestions on, the extension locally reads visible public text on eligible HTTP/HTTPS
pages to determine whether Macedonian text is present and whether to show an in-page
prompt. A manual page action reads one page; a selection action reads only the highlighted
passage. The in-page prompt asks whether that exact website may donate automatically from
then on. If you turn it on, the hostname is remembered and text from it can be sent without
another prompt after it passes the local Macedonian language check. If you turn it off, the
website is recorded as manual-only: no prompt and nothing sent on its own, while donating
by hand from the popup or the right-click menu still works. A donated page can include:

• the visible prose, split into its individual paragraphs. Navigation, footers, cookie
  banners and link-only labels are filtered out and are not donated;
• how those paragraphs are arranged on the page, such as headings, lists, and whether a
  paragraph sits in the main content or in navigation;
• the page URL and title;
• the page language hint, when present;
• publicly declared page metadata, such as the canonical address, site name, publication
  and update dates, and breadcrumb navigation; and
• the retrieval time.

The extension does not collect author or byline names, and does not collect the internal
identifiers or style names of page elements.

The extension does not read form values, passwords, payment fields, cookies, or browsing
history. Blocked outright: system pages; local and internal addresses, including private
network ranges, .local/.internal/.lan names, plain hostnames with no dot such as
http://intranet/, and raw IP addresses; webmail and messaging services; payment
providers; listed banks; Macedonian government, tax and health portals; and any hostname on
your “Do not donate” list. The built-in part of that list is shown in full in Settings,
under “Не донирај од овие веб-страници”. It cannot be switched off — it does not depend on
you having configured anything.


Donated text goes to Vezilka at https://doniraj.vezilka.ai and nowhere else. It is not
sent to any other address and not shared with third parties.

Donating requires a connected Vezilka account. Access and refresh tokens are stored in
browser-local extension storage, and accepted donations are attributed to your account and
earn points. Vezilka does not accept anonymous donations, so without a connected account
the extension can detect Macedonian text but sends nothing. The extension does not contain
or transmit a secret crawler API key.


If you connect an account, Settings offers a form for reporting a bug or suggesting a
feature. Nothing is sent unless you write a message and press send. What is sent is
limited to: the message you typed, whether it is a bug or a feature request, the
extension version, your browser's user-agent string, and—only if you tick the box—the
address of the page the form was opened from. You may add a reply address; leaving it
empty is fine. The report goes to Vezilka at https://doniraj.vezilka.ai, which forwards
it to the extension's maintainer by email. Your account identifies the report, so
reporting is limited to signed-in users and rate-limited to prevent abuse. The extension
sends no page content with a report.


The extension stores your enabled/disabled and suggestion preferences, the exact
hostnames you add to the “Do not donate” list, hostnames you approve for automatic
donation, hostnames you have left as manual-only, a bounded list of hashes of previously
handled text to avoid repeat requests, counts of how much you have donated so Settings can
show your contribution, the timestamps of recent automatic donations and of your last few
bug reports so the sending limits can be applied, and—once you connect—Vezilka access
and refresh tokens. It does not sell data or use advertising trackers.


You can turn off the master toggle or automatic site suggestions at any time; turning
suggestions off hands the page-reading permission back to the browser. You can also
withdraw that permission yourself from your browser's extension settings, which stops
in-page suggestions immediately while leaving manual and right-click donation working. You
can block the current hostname from the popup and reverse it in Settings.
Settings shows what you have donated so far and can clear those counters.
You can also turn off automatic donation for the current hostname in the in-page prompt or
the popup, or use “Ask again” beside any hostname in Settings.
Disconnecting your account revokes the refresh token when the service is available and
removes locally stored tokens; donating stops until you connect again, while detection and
all your other settings are untouched. Removing the extension clears its browser-local
storage.
