GovLens collects no personal data. There are no servers, no analytics, and no telemetry.

• Your profile (age, education, category) is stored only in your own browser using browser.storage.local. It never leaves your device.
• The translation feature sends the selected page text directly to Google Translate (translate.googleapis.com). This is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. GovLens does not receive or store this data.
• The AI summarise feature is optional. It uses an API key you provide yourself, sent directly to api.anthropic.com. GovLens does not store your key beyond your browser session.
• Job and page watches fetch URLs directly from your browser. No content is sent to any GovLens server.
