PRIVACY POLICY FOR ADBLOCKER ULTIMATE

AdBlocker Ultimate is designed to protect user privacy and does not sell personal data.

LOCAL DATA STORAGE

AdBlocker Ultimate stores data locally in the extension storage in the user's Firefox profile. This may include preferences, filter subscriptions, custom filters, sites the user has excluded from filtering, a count of blocked items, and other information needed for the extension to operate.

AdBlocker Ultimate does not store browsing history. If the user allows the extension to run in a Private Window, the same local extension storage is used as in a normal window. This data remains on the device only. Clearing browsing history does not remove it. It remains until the extension is removed.

FILTER LIST UPDATES

AdBlocker Ultimate periodically downloads a filter catalog and updates for enabled filter lists from adavoid.org. The server receives the information normally associated with an Internet request, including the user's IP address and browser version.

If the user adds a filter subscription hosted by a third party, update requests for that subscription are sent to that third party and are subject to the privacy practices of the service hosting the list.

FEEDBACK

If the user submits feedback from the extension, the message and email address they enter are sent to adblockultimate.net so that AdBlocker Ultimate can respond.

EXTENSION UPDATES AND PAGES

Updates for the Firefox version are distributed through Mozilla Add-ons. Firefox manages those update requests according to Mozilla's privacy practices.
