Version 3.7.2
Released 17 Jul 2026 - 827.88 kBWorks with firefox 140.0 and later, android 142.0 and later3.7.2: Added a "Deep clean" button. Some old tabs get unloaded from memory and hide their address, so the normal cleanup can't see them at all. Deep clean briefly reloads each such tab to read its address, then closes every duplicate found, including "Single Tab Limit" domain duplicates. It only runs when you tap the button; it never runs automatically.Source code released under Mozilla Public Licence 2.0
Version 3.7.1
Released 17 Jul 2026 - 827.01 kBWorks with firefox 140.0 and later, android 142.0 and later3.7.1: Fixed the "Clean up duplicates now" cleanup and the auto-close sweep to also honor your "Single Tab Limit" domain rules, not just exact-URL matches. Previously, a domain limited to one tab (e.g. facebook.com) could still have several tabs open on different pages and the cleanup would report nothing to close. It now collapses all tabs on a limited domain down to one, keeping the most recently used tab.Source code released under Mozilla Public Licence 2.0
Version 3.7.0
Released 17 Jul 2026 - 826.58 kBWorks with firefox 140.0 and later, android 142.0 and laterNew in 3.7.0:
Added: Auto-close existing duplicate tabs on Firefox for Android. When you already have the same page open twice, the extra tab is closed on its own and the most recently used one is kept. It runs on startup by default, with an optional setting to also check every few minutes, or you can turn it off. A new "Clean up duplicates now" button (available on all platforms) removes duplicates on demand.
Fixed: Stale duplicate tabs were not being closed on Firefox for Android once a tab had been unloaded from memory. Android unloads background tabs and hides their address from add-ons, so a duplicate stayed invisible until you reopened and reloaded it. The extension now remembers each tab's last address, so unloaded duplicates are still detected, and it tidies up a stale tab as soon as you reopen it, with no manual reload needed.Source code released under Mozilla Public Licence 2.0
