One-Click Block & Mute on X by grad13

One-Click Block & Mute for X adds a small circular ban icon on x.com so you can mute and block a user in one click.

What it does
• On profiles: places a ban icon in the action row (with ··· / message), next to Follow — not a Follow-style button.
• On posts: places the same icon next to the post’s ··· menu.
• On click: mutes the user, then blocks them, using your already signed-in X session. No confirmation dialog.
• Skips your own account.

What it does not do
• Does not use the official X developer API or ask for API keys.
• Does not bulk-block lists, report accounts, or change other X settings.
• Does not collect personal data; actions stay in your browser session with X.

How to use
1. Install the add-on and open x.com while signed in.
2. Open a profile or timeline post.
3. Click the ban icon. Mute runs first, then block.
4. To undo, use X’s own Unmute / Unblock.

Notes
• Works on x.com (and twitter.com when that host still redirects or loads the same UI).
• X may change page layout or internal endpoints; if the icon or action stops working, update the add-on when a fix is available.
• You must be logged in to X for mute/block to succeed.

About this add-on
