- Rated 4 out of 5by Private Citizen, a year agoI got it to change the stupid giant video thumbnail sizes, which it does. It's great that it also allows you to hide many of the page elements. The only negative is that YT detects the ad blocking, stops the video, and warns your account. It would be nice to also resize the shorts thumbnails.

posted a year agoDisabling the following 3 options should prevent YouTube detecting adblocking:
1. Video lists → Hide sponsored videos & promos
2. Video pages → Skip ads
3. Video pages → Hide Merch, Offers etc.
We're looking at alternative ways to implement these, and we recommend uBlock Origin to block ads on YouTube in the meantime - Rated 5 out of 5by disasterofsorts, a year agoWorks straight out of the box, thanks so much! Now there just needs to be an option to make the size of the YT Shorts smaller!

posted a year agoThe Video lists → Hide suggested sections option should hide Playables and other grid-interrupting shelves in Home, as well as the titled sections in Search which are irrelevant to your search results.
