• Rates are Frankfurter's daily reference values (ECB and partner central
  banks), not real-time market rates.
• No API key, no host beyond api.frankfurter.dev is contacted.
• lastRequestId guards against race conditions: if you keep typing before
  a fetch resolves, the stale response is discarded instead of overwriting
  a newer suggestion.
