Immich Photos for Proton Mail ("the Extension") is open-source
software (MIT license) that runs entirely in your browser. We do not
collect, store, transmit, or share any of your data.

WHAT THE EXTENSION DOES:
- Adds an "Immich" button inside Proton Mail's compose window
- Lets you browse your self-hosted Immich photo library and attach
photos as encrypted email attachments
- All processing happens locally in your browser

DATA STORED LOCALLY (browser.storage.local):
- Your Immich server URL
- Your Immich API key
These are used ONLY to communicate with your own Immich instance.
Nothing is sent to us or any third party.

DATA SENT TO EXTERNAL SERVERS:
- Photos and API requests go ONLY to your self-hosted Immich server
(the URL you configure in settings)
- The extension activates solely on mail.proton.me

NO TRACKING:
- No analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, no third-party scripts
- No cookies, no advertising, no data collection of any kind
