About this extension

NOVACAST Guard protects you from impersonation and phishing websites - the fake pages that copy a real bank, wallet, government portal or brand to steal your credentials.

How it works
- Detection runs entirely on your device. Guard inspects the address and page of the site you are visiting against local lookalike, typosquatting and brand-impersonation signals.
- When a page looks like a dangerous impersonation, Guard shows a clear warning before you type anything.
- Clean, normal browsing is never sent anywhere.

What it detects
- Lookalike / typosquatting domains (e.g. paypa1, bank-secure-login)
- Brand and login-page impersonation
- Credential-harvesting patterns

Privacy
- No account required, no ads, no analytics, no third-party intelligence APIs.
- Guard does not collect your browsing. Optionally, if you turn on reporting or use the "I was a victim" button, only the specific flagged URL is sent to NOVACAST to improve detection.
