    New: Article Discovery setting (Options → General). Choose "Deep archive" and Surprise Me will reach back into a site's older articles instead of only showing the latest posts — powered by live WordPress archive indexes, measured page depths across our catalog, and smart pagination probing.

    Improved: Options settings now save instantly as you change them (no more pressing Save), toggles align cleanly to the edge, and the Sources table is reordered so actions sit last.

    Fixed: white edges around the options page in dark mode; catalog cleaned up (dead feeds removed, archive depths verified source-by-source)

    Works with firefox 140.0 and later
    • Fixed the Settings page so it now correctly follows your Light, Dark, or System theme.
    • Added a new default shortcut: Ctrl+. (Cmd+. on macOS) opens a random article without opening the popup. You can change it anytime from your browser's extension shortcuts.
    • Added Source Snooze. Hide a source for a day, a week, or a month without removing it.
    • Added per-source article age limits. Override the global age filter for individual sources when you want older content from specific sites.
    • Improved the first-run experience. Choose the topics you're interested in during setup, and Random Reader will use those categories for future rolls. You can change them later in Settings.
    • Improved error handling when loading settings. If something goes wrong, you'll now see an error message instead of a blank or broken Settings page.
