SEO Inspector collects nothing and sends nothing to sona.to.

Requests. Opening the panel on a page requests that site's robots.txt, checks for llms.txt with a HEAD request, refetches the page's own HTML to compare raw against rendered, and loads the image named in the page's og:image tag to measure it. The first three go to the site you are already visiting. The fourth goes wherever the tag points, which on many sites is a CDN on a different address. None of them reach sona.to.

Storage. A summary of each page you inspect is saved with storage.local on your own machine: title, description, canonical, first H1, up to twelve H2 headings, counts of words, headings, links, images and structured data blocks, the structured data types found, the og:image address, the number of findings, and the score. It is used to show what changed since your last visit. Five snapshots per address, 300 addresses maximum, oldest discarded first. It never syncs and is never uploaded.

Permissions. activeTab reads the page you are on, only when you click the toolbar icon. scripting runs the inspection on that page. storage saves the snapshots above. There are no host permissions, so the extension cannot read pages in the background and holds no standing access to any site.

No analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, no advertising identifier, no account.

Dismiss clears a page's history. Uninstalling clears everything.
