Am I wrong or are in version 0.4.0 no possibilities to configure it? I do not see any settings options. I am using Firefox 62.0.3. Currently it shows only the open tabs separate for each window, no window count together with tabs count like in your first image. I only see the correct counts when moving over the icon or clicking on it. Will be the full featured version only available for Firefox 63? Add info: I updated Tab counter from last version to 0.4.0.

got update for 0.4.1. Noticed still missing option of add-on in Firefox 62.0.3 Add-On Manager view. Removed the add-on and reinstalled it and, voila, the options of the add-on are back. I do not know what happened that the view of options in the add-on manager view has been dismissed, but anyway.. now full 5 stars for my needs. Thx for your work

Once installed I got scared when i saw that i have more than 350 tabs open, but i was not really surprised... ;)

It does just one thing (total number of tabs), but it does it smoothly and well.
Simple and effective! well implemented with the FireFox UI without disturbing your eyes.
Strongly recommended to those who need to scroll horizontally to switch between tabs...

Counter says "wait" all the time for seemingly no reason, especially considering it flickers with the value for such an insignificant time.

Shows absolutely wrong number of tabs! I have 23 tabs opened and your extension shows 92!
Removing it.

Works fine w/ my browser theme. I like that it shows number in this window + number of all windows. thanks.

Needs update to support new Firefox black tab bar

Thanks for this practical add-on. I just miss the option to change text color. I like light colors but in that case number of open tabs is invisible (because it is always white). And also like someone before mentions it would be useful that you could change size of font (number) for us who don't have perfect vision any more :)

Installation does not ask for any permissions, great!
The displayed number looks like sore thumb, too much attention grabbing, I had to change the background color in settings of the extension.

It's about 66KB in size (packed), being the biggest contender (the smallest I've tested is 6.5KB, packed). It uses a timeout to update the badge, what I'm not sure is the best way of doing it (I've seen others using event triggers). It may be configured to show total tabs in all windows, tabs in each window or both (although that last option is not very useful, as there is a limit of how many characters can be displayed on a badge). Nevertheless, it has good options and works fine, using WebExtensions technology and is bootstrapped (no restart required).

Simple to use, easy to configure, good performance even with hundreds of tabs, good code quality. Thanks for this great extension!

Very good replacement for unmaintained tab-counters add-ons. Better than old ones.
