About this extension
Tubeless is a focused YouTube cleanup tool. Hide the parts of YouTube you don't want to see; Shorts, the AI "Ask" button, end-screen cards, recommended-game shelves, event banners, sidenav clutter, and more, with a single toggle each. Pause the whole thing with one switch when you want plain YouTube back.

What it can hide
- Sidebar: Shorts entry, Explore section (Trending / Music / Movies), "More from YouTube", and most of the "You" section (with History / Playlists / Watch Later kept).
- Top bar: the "Create" button, the notifications bell, and the home/subscriptions filter chip bar.
- Home shelves: every recommendation shelf, gaming shelves specifically, and election / breaking-news / promo banners.
- Content types in feeds: individual Shorts cards, movies & shows, community posts, mixes, playlists & podcasts, live streams, music videos, member-only videos, and Premieres.
- Watch page: a Full / Minimal mode for the action row under the player (Minimal keeps Subscribe, Like, Dislike, Save; hides Join, the notifications bell, Ask, Share, and the kebab menu); plus the merch shelf, in-video and post-video end-screen cards, the video description block, the comments section, the recommendations sidebar, and Wikipedia / context info panels.

Sensible defaults are on out of the box. Everything is configurable from the toolbar popup, and a main switch lets you pause Tubeless any time you want plain YouTube back.

How it works
Tubeless injects a single stylesheet into youtube.com that hides elements you've toggled. There is no DOM rewriting, no remote code, no background workers doing real work, and no network requests.

Privacy
- No telemetry. No analytics. No tracking.
- The only permission requested is storage, used to remember your toggle settings via Firefox's built-in sync.
