New features and improvements:

Redesigned UI. The popup and sidebar now use Inter as the system font, replacing Quicksand. The result is a cleaner, more professional look that matches modern SEO tools. Status pills (pass/warn/fail) have been restyled with flat solid fills and white text across all three themes.

Headings Map improvements. The page title now appears as a root node at the top of the headings tree, matching the layout of the HeadingsMap extension. A live search box lets you filter headings by text as you type. Rows are denser and the connector lines are lighter, improving readability. Violation highlights now hug only the heading content block instead of painting the full row.

Filter chip active state. Active filter chips now show a gradient outline so the selected state is clearly visible in all three themes (Dark, Light, Hybrid).

Hybrid theme is now the default for new installs. Hybrid uses a dark header with a light body, which works well on most sites.

New Vantage logo. The gradient-text wordmark has been replaced with the new Vantage logo mark across the popup, sidebar, and options page.

Bug fixes:

Fixed an issue where the optional user-agent switcher could apply the spoofed UA globally across all tabs instead of only the active one, causing Cloudflare challenges and sign-in blocks on sites like PayPal and Shopify. The switcher is now off by default, tab-scoped, and fully removed the moment it is turned off.
Fixed two schema audit checks ("Article includes author" and "Article includes datePublished/dateModified") that were silently skipped due to a duplicate JSON key in the rules file. These checks now run correctly.

No new permissions. No changes to data handling.

Bug fixes:

Fixed an issue where running an audit could fail with "content script returned no result" and the page wouldn't be analyzed. Audits from both the toolbar popup and the sidebar now run reliably.
Fixed an inaccurate word count and reading time on sites built with Webflow, Framer, and similar page builders that wrap article content in header or section elements. The full article body is now counted instead of a small fixed number.

  any website and it scans automatically.
• Fixed: meta title and description now match what search engines and other
  SEO tools read. Vantage uses the first tag and scans the full document, so
  pages with duplicate meta tags report correctly.
• Improved: color coding is more forgiving and range based. Titles and
  descriptions within the accepted length range now show green; yellow is
  reserved for values that are short or near the truncation limit. Oversized
  images and a zero link-issue count no longer show red.
• Improved: clearer wording on pages that cannot be scanned.
