About this extension
This is an open source browser extension that I created for personal use. It lets you capture words from any page and save them to Anki via AnkiConnect. It has options for fetching definitions, part of speech, etc. from free dictionary APIs or AI.

Permissions and data

Required permissions:

  • Access browser tabs
  • Access your data for all web sites

Optional permissions:

  • Access your data for 127.0.0.1:8765
  • Access your data for localhost:8765
  • Access your data for api.dictionaryapi.dev
  • Access your data for en.wiktionary.org
  • Access your data for openrouter.ai

Data collection:

  • The developer says this extension doesn't require data collection.
