Released 18 Jul 2026 - 20.2 kBWorks with firefox 109.0a1 and laterVersion Notes: What’s New
Major Features & Modes- Fade Mode: Added a highly requested alternative to completely hiding videos. When toggled, filtered videos are desaturated to grayscale and dimmed to 20% opacity, allowing you to visually deprioritize content while keeping it accessible and clickable.
- Native "Watched Video" Hiding: Eliminate the need for third-party "seen it" extensions. The filter now natively reads YouTube's embedded red progress bar (supporting both classic and YouTube's newest 2026 layout updates) and automatically hides videos. Includes a customizable completion threshold (e.g., hide only if watched past 90%).
- Global Channel Blocking (Collab Support): Added a master blocklist for channels. This powerful filter uses broad text matching, meaning it instantly catches and hides videos where a blocked creator is listed as a co-creator in a multi-channel collaboration.
- VOD Whitelist/Blacklist Control: Upgraded the "Hide Past Streams" feature with granular control. You can now choose to "Hide all EXCEPT from" (whitelist) or "Hide ONLY from" (blacklist) specific channels.
Advanced Filtering- Regular Expressions (Regex) Support: Unlocked power-user capabilities. You can now use advanced Regex patterns to catch complex, dynamic title structures (e.g., blocking all titles with excessive caps, specific numbering formats, or spammy punctuation).
- Scope Control (Subscriptions vs. Global): Added a master toggle allowing you to restrict the extension's behavior strictly to the /feed/subscriptions page, or unleash it globally to clean up your Home page, Search results, and Recommended feeds.
Under the Hood & UI- Dynamic, No-Reload Filtering: Rewrote the core filtering engine. Changes made in the settings menu are now applied to the YouTube grid instantly in real-time. The script seamlessly clears its tracking tags and reconstructs the grid without requiring a single page refresh.
- Complete UI Overhaul: Redesigned the settings menu into a clean, modern, Tabbed Interface (General, Channels, Keywords, Data) to keep the growing list of tools organized and easy to navigate.
- Local Backups: Added one-click Export and Import functionality, allowing users to save their complex rulesets to a local JSON file for safekeeping.
- Safe Firefox Cloud Sync: Integrated chrome.storage.sync with explicit "Push to Cloud" and "Pull from Cloud" buttons, letting users manually sync their rules across multiple computers without the risk of accidental automatic overwrites.
