- Rated 2 out of 5by KDean, 8 months agoPlease fix!! Needs to be updated. When using this extension and loading a video on YouTube, it just closes and sends you back to the homepage, making it impossible to use. Likely a problem with YouTube in general, but this needs to be fixed.
Otherwise an awesome extension when it works; it lets you block out the annoying content you hate seeing, and makes sure you never see it again. Please update this so I can change the review to 5 stars like it deserves! - Rated 2 out of 5by PuppyLuver256, 8 months agoIt works fine, but sometimes the context menu disappears. Refreshing Youtube pages often does not restore it, and instead a full restart of the browser is required. Other than that everything's gravy.
(note: this review is heavily altered from its original state, it was initially a two-star complaining about the context menu disappearance, but now that it's come back after a fix on my end I figured it was unfair to leave the review and rating as is)
EDIT: Never mind again, back to two stars as the context menu no longer appears on videos in the "recommended" sidebar on a video page despite it appearing on videos in my history. Please fix this. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14813616, 8 months ago2025.07.31 It doesn't work. Developers should respond immediately, or Firefox should stop providing add-ons right away.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Inspiron1440, 8 months agoLove it! A block feature on Youtube just seems like such a no brainer I consider it practically malicious that it's not an inherent feature, however this extension works wonderfully and I appreciate the option to have something ACTUALLY not recommended or to block particular videos over the whole channel. I downloaded it for that one initial purpose so I hadn't read the full list of features and was very pleasantly surprised to see that I could disable Youtube shorts (the second biggest bane of my existence) as well :)

- Rated 1 out of 5by grim, 10 months agoBroken. It triggers youtube adblock warnings, eventually youtube stops working until you remove it.

i love this extension, you can block shorts, block youtubers from feed, and auto-hide videos you've already watched which actually makes youtube usable. please update!! - Rated 5 out of 5by Unknown., a year agoEasy-To-Use
Gets the job done
A helpful addition would be the option to block shorts from specific channels instead of shorts from all channels(I didn't find an option like this yet) - Rated 3 out of 5by megaspel, a year agoUnfortunately this extensions triggers youtube's anti-adblock measures now.

- Rated 3 out of 5by DocMcMoth, a year agoworks okay, but occasionally the block options do not appear in the context menu. My real problem however, is that it is not intuitive to un-block a channel after blocking it. I blocked a channel I did not mean to, and when I checked the filter options in the extentions menu, it was completely blank. Nothing I had blocked prior appeared in the filter options, so I had no way of removing it from the block list. Checking the wiki on the github provided no answers either. If there is a way to remove a channel from your blocklist, it is not apparent at all
