It just displays a pop-up window informing you that the page is blocked.
In devtools->network, I still see the page's traffic after the blocking message.
P.S. If this is helpful, the server can also be installed using the windows version of Python.
However, you need to add DATABASE_PATH = path to the .db database to your environment variables.Developer response
posted 2 days agoThanks for the review! I actually developed it mainly for myself but with this many people using it, ill focus on improving and documenting it. Developer response
posted a year agoHi, it requires a sync server to function. Further information is on GitHub https://github.com/BeatLink/BlockURL- Rated 3 out of 5by LikeYouNeedToKnow, 2 years agoAt first it appeared to do nothing. It does actually work. Big issue is you have to type or copy\paste offending url. It would be nice to have a "block current\this site button under submenu.

posted a year agoTheres a page action to facilitate this. Its the no button that shows in the address bar next to the bookmark button. Be sure to also setup the sync server
