About this extension
LinkSanitizer is a privacy-focused extension that instantly cleans URLs before you share them.

When you paste a link (like a Reddit share link), the extension automatically follows any shortlink redirects entirely within your browser to uncover the final destination. It then strips out known tracking parameters (like utm_source, share_id, click IDs, and generic hashes) while safely keeping important query parameters intact.

Everything runs locally in your browser—no data is sent to external servers, and your privacy is fully protected.
