by Firefox user 15796870, 5 years agoDo not get, will completley bug out when you disable it, i use duck duck go and it would do a double negative and enable dark mode already over my existing dark mode on duckduckgo. I uninstalled this garbage extension and now when ever i select dark theme on duck duck go it doesn't save cause night eye has left over files colliding with the duck duck go ones. has ruined my duckduckgo browser and permantley white. %100 do not recommend this crap. (too developers) If your going to put dark mode on websites, make sure the website doesn't have dark mode in the first place because it fu(ks around with the settings. only do to websites that dont have the option available like soundcloud. crap extension

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18857956, 2 months agoVery nice, glad that it provides a free trial for several months. Do remember that the pro version costs money, the free version only darkens 5 websites, but the 2-month trial (if I remember correctly) gives you an unlimited amount. Still a high recommendation either way for night owls such as myself.

- Rated 1 out of 5by boopidoop, 4 months agoRecently updated to be only a trial, with either a one-time payment or a subscription to continue use. Since the user has to configure it for most non-major websites, and most major websites are integrating dark mode for free, this really doesn't seem worth the price, especially for an accessibility tool. A donation button would be perfectly fine

- Rated 1 out of 5by parv, 4 months agoyou need to pay nine dollars a year or a one-time purchase of 40 to use. They do not make it clear at all on the download page that you will be required to pay to use it after the free trial. They claim that you can use it for free on 5 websites but the free version does not work in my experience. It works well and I would be willing to pay if the one-time purchase cost less or if they were forthcoming in the price.

- Rated 4 out of 5by John S, 5 months agoNight Eye is ideal for evening meetings etc. With multiple widows and screens, it often happens that meeting-related activity outside the meeting window will cause sharp changes in light intensity - leaving you a bit dazzled and others on the meeting distracted by the brightness shifts in your tile or reflections in your glasses. It's so much easier on the eyes. I'd love to see an upgrade that compensates better for the variation in website design, but I love it anyway.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Raptor, 5 months agoThe dark mode browser extension for Mozilla Firefox is an absolute game-changer! It seamlessly transforms every website into a sleek, eye-friendly interface that's perfect for late-night browsing. Not only does it reduce eye strain, but it also gives every page a polished, modern look. Easy to use and highly customizable, this extension is a must-have for anyone who values both comfort and style. Five stars all the way!
