How to use

Add something to your list
Click the Nyatching List icon in your browser toolbar
Open the add form
Search for a title, or type the details yourself
Set the status and starting progress, then save. Next up starts at 0, and changing that progress switches the title to watching.

If you are already on an IMDb title page, the form can fill itself in for you.

Track progress
Shows: Update the current season and episode from the dashboard
Movies: Update how many minutes you have watched
Notify: Turn reminders and new-episode alerts on or off

Dashboard

Open the dashboard from the popup to:
Search and filter by status or type
Update progress and status
Review notification history
Change notification settings

Notifications

Waiting shows with Notify on can send a desktop alert when TMDB has a new episode or season. A next up show sends one alert when episodes start airing, not one per episode. Watching shows and movies with Notify on can send a reminder after they go unchanged for the interval set in settings. At most 2 episode alerts and 2 reminders are sent per day. Click a toast to open your watching link, or the dashboard if none is set. Completed and dropped titles are not notified.

Checks run at 12:00 PM. If the browser was closed at that time, the check runs when it next opens.

In settings you can set how often to look up waiting shows on TMDB, how long before a watching reminder, or turn either off (Never).

Privacy
Your watchlist and settings are stored locally in your browser
The extension does not create an account
Title search and season checks use the public TMDB API
No personal watchlist data is uploaded to a Nyatching List server
