Tentaco — Open in Tool by Tentaco

Tentaco is a free, privacy-first toolbox with 300+ browser utilities. This add-on adds one step from any webpage to the right tool:

1. Select text on a page (JSON, JWT, UUID, email, IP, hex color, XML, YAML, Base64, URL, …).
2. Right-click → Open in Tentaco.
3. Land on the best-matching tool with your selection ready to use.

What it routes:

JSON → JSON Formatter
JWT tokens → JWT Decoder
Base64 → Base64 Encoder/Decoder
URLs → HTTP tools
XML / YAML → JSON Workbench
UUID, email, IP, hex colors → matching validators and converters
Options

Custom base URL (default: https://tentaco.cc) — for self-hosted or local dev
Language: English or German (en / de)
Settings sync via browser storage

Privacy:

This add-on does not collect, transmit or sell your data. Selected text is only used to build a URL on your chosen Tentaco site, opened in a new tab when you use the context menu. No background tracking, no analytics, no third-party servers from the extension itself.

Permissions:

Context menus — “Open in Tentaco” when text is selected
Storage — save your base URL and language preference
No access to all websites, no clipboard permission, no hidden network calls.
